A rainbow was what you could describe Kit as. Captivating. Bright. An enigma. Where people could fault him or make fun, he approached them and connected with them in a way that would have had even the biggest bully doing a double take. He was magnetic, and the pull he had with Jasper from the moment they met was electric. 

Jasper had given up. He was so full of grief and hopelessness that he didn’t want to live anymore. He was just so utterly broken inside, that he didn’t see that he was loved or that he was enough.

“He Made Me Stay,” by K Webster is an MM Novella. I don’t think I could have handled it more emotionally if it was any longer to be honest. I felt the deep rooted anguish and pain that Jasper was feeling - and how Kit swooped in as the ‘strong’ force he is and breathed life into Jasper. They SAVED each other, quite literally, might I add. Both physically and emotionally. This story was built on the foundation of the subject of suicide and living with a chronic disease. It was tragic, at times, but so beautifully written I was openly crying for Jasper and Kit. Because this is K Webster we are reading people, it was not short of its moment of steam. It was still VERY much brought to the table. Such an amazing story.
