First Thoughts
2019 is off to an absolute fantastic start. And it all started with this book. Anytime you can start a year out with a 4 (four) star book, it’s going to be a great year. 

Moving on to actually talk about this book. How I missed this dark and depraved world. Does that make me a sick person? Probably. Oh well. So, I haven’t read this series in a while so I forgot just how messed up Benny or Benjamin actually was. It was a bit of a shock to the system. But it was nice to go back to familiar territory. It felt like the writer’s were trying to do something different and I liked that. 

Characters
There were new character POVs. One is from Tanner (who I believe is pansexual) and Benny’s new dolly (who’s name I won’t give away), who might be more mad then Benny is, if that is even possible. I really appreciated the new POVs. They added to the story and kept it fresh. It was nice to get out of Benny’s head. There was also a POV of Dillion, but I actually didn’t like his as much. His was duller than the others. 

As for Benny himself, I was so mad at myself for feeling bad for him and wanting him to have a happy ending. I hated him so much in the first two books so to experience this change was interesting but it was unwelcome. I think I am starting to really to like anti heroes, if Benny can even be considered an anti hero. 

The Writing 
The writing was excellent as per usual. The sex scenes (which were a plenty) were hot and spicy. The way the authors wrote Benny was fantastic. He was diry, gritty and raw. I felt every single emotion from him. 

The way the authors write is just gritty and raw. There is nothing held back. Nothing that isn’t said. It’s startling but at the same time, refreshing. The conversations were the strongest I’ve seen in awhile. Everything said felt realistic. 

Trigger Warnings
Buckle up. There is a lot of trigger warnings. The world is dark and depraved and like I mentioned before, nothing is held back at all. The trigger warnings are: rape, trafficked women, murder, derogatory comments towards women, assault, and incest. 

Final Thoughts
Overall, this book was absolutely amazing. I think it’s even better than the first two books. Everything is heavier and darker. The writing has changed dramatically but it’s still the same Pretty Stolen Dolls world. I would recommend this to everyone but it’s not for everyone. So tread carefully if you do want to read this book and this series.
