It showcases the struggles that Jaxon carries living in secret in more of a conservative town and how it effects him emotionally and mentally. The fact that Jaxon and Dante had an electric connection right from the get go, made it easy for them to rely on one another. But what they didn’t expect from the other was to gain strength; to heal. If you’re looking for a small town quick read that is steamy and has some fun moments, as well as a town mystery - give this a read!

Anna // read.all.night 

This is a small town MM romance about a closeted sheriff and a big city developer who is new to the area. I loved the New England vibes and the families/supporting characters a lot. This book will be part of a multi author series around these characters so I’m definitely looking forward to that! 

Jaxon is scared to come out because he thinks his parents and the town won’t accept him. His inner dialogue is really heartbreaking and I was invested in his coming our journey and eventual acceptance of himself. 

Dante is a NYC real estate guy who moved to Brig’s Ferry Bay to pursue his dream and has trouble being accepted by the town. He starts up an arrangement with Jaxon which slowly turns into more. 

I liked the relationship in this book and the angst within the couple and community. It was a change of pace from what I’m used to from K. Webster- not dark or taboo at all- but I enjoyed it.
