I couldn't finish this book
I made it to about 78% by pure force but I couldn't finish it, which is really disappointing to me because I initially wanted to read the series for other books, so maybe I'll just skip ahead to those. 
Basically, there were a lot of aspects of the narrative that made me uncomfortable and pissed me off in a way that made the entire story unenjoyable. I'm sure that had I made it to the end, I'd be really happy, but I didn't see the point in suffering.
