I AM CONFLICTED.
I like it. A lot. But the story itself is not about morally grey people, it's about BAD people. OMG, its messing with my head. I shouldn't like it so much, and some parts of me recoil. Ugh. Complicated.

So, this was a really entertaining read and I loved the artwork in this ongoing comic series. 

BUT

I am not entirely comfy with a story that elicits positive emotions about criminals. I am all for morally grey characters and story lines, but this comic is another step further. All the characters are criminals. Like murder, organ harvesting, hit-man, crime ring criminals. They aren't morally grey. They are harming people around them. 

Now, I will give credit that Wild doesn't glamourize the actual criminal aspects, although do be aware that the crime is often REALLY explicit at times. But, I did feel that they glamourized the criminals themselves, which put me off. 

I thought the relationships were handled really well. The Scott/Seong/Lars triangle was completely different to what I've previously come across in webcomics and the emotion and second-guessing involved were really well done. 

I also ADORED the F/F slow burn side romance, and really I just want these girls to have their own non-criminal web series. 

The diversity in this comic was also just really PRESENT which I loved. From the addition of key POC characters to the LGBTQIA+ rep, I would love to see what else Wild comes out with. 

This is an ongoing series, but I probably won't continue. I enjoyed it for what it was, but I'd rather read something that didn't make me question whether I was okay with the story line.
