I think this is one of the most inspiring books I've ever read. What an incredible person! 

William's desire for education, which is imparted to him by his father, takes him on a remarkable journey. This is a story of how that desire grows into a dream and that dream becomes the foundation for the resilience and drive that characterises William throughout. It serves as a reminder that with passion and resilience we can overcome obstacles that at first seem insurmountable.

On a personal note this book helped strengthen my existing belief that decentralised electricity generation is fundamental to the future of energy.
