This was a cute book to start the series. I wasn’t a huge fan of the whole social media coverage of the book but it was her job and premise of the book it just wasn’t my favorite part of the book. The couple was cute and I liked the way this FWB situation went. The third act breakup wasn’t even a breakup which was nice, it was just needing to see through past struggles that gave the FMC trauma. I wish the MMC would have been more vocal in it other than going only with what she wanted because it didn’t really help them until that last moment. But it was cute and I liked it. The side characters were fun and I’m excited for the little tidbit we got for book 2 in this one as well.

this was crazy boring and maven was so ???

vince annoyed me sm at the stripper scene and with his use of the expression puck bunny.

also her going to therapy because a man broke up with her and still being hung up over him YEARS later is so not girlboss of her???

It was pretty good. About a girl whose job is social media and she starts a exclusive on rookie hockey player. Blah, blah, blah she has issues, fall in love, but won’t get together because that’s what they each think that that is what the other wants, breaks up for a bit, gets back together, he proposes 5 months later. The end. Smut was smut, a little too much for me but I’m vanilla sooooo…
