3.5 ⭐️ Holden and Julep were just so sweet and I absolutely love how he never gave up on her.. I just love when she’s the grumpy and he’s the sunshine.. Both characters experienced so much loss and grief and it was just heartwarming seeing them heal.. my only problem was the pacing felt a little too fast that I couldn’t connect as much to the characters like I did with Clay and Gianna.. and I really didn’t like how julep’s mother treated her when she was falling apart, but then when julep was doing better and healing she came back to her life? And all was forgiven?!! Also I do get the coach not wanting his daughter to get hurt but trying to interfere in her relationship with Holden and breaking them up was just not it.. However, Holden was very sweet and just perfect for Julep..

okay, this one was a fun read dont get me wrong but also kinda eh??? i felt like nothing really happened but a lot also did happen. their tension and chemistry was everything though!!! idk what it was, but i just didn’t enjoy this one as much as the blind side. i didn’t fully connect with either character honestly. the relationship that julep had with her dad was really odd considering the fact that she is a grown woman, also that epilogue just threw things off for me as well bc they were only together for like 7 or 8 months before they got engaged? idk maybe it’s just a me thing

Now I have deviated from the TBR shelf and knew I wanted to get ready for Hail Mary. Fair Catch wasn’t my favorite, Blind Side I will do anything for, and Quarterback Sneak is in between that. I loved the characters individually and together it took a little bit for me to connect with them. I could understand their mindsets because thinking about it what football is for Holden and poling for Julep is what reading is for me. I fell into books when my dad died and everyone around me was spiraling and I had to be rock for them I needed something to get me through and books was that for me.

So now reading a book that understand what my mind in ways I never knew how to explain is actually insane.

I loved having the other characters, except Kyle, still in the books and I love them! But the build for Leo and Mary😳

I’m impatient and I’m ready to get my hands on it!

It’s going to be sad to see this series end but am so lucky to have experienced their stories!

Quarterback Sneak is the most recent release in the Red Zone Rivals series. After really enjoying the first book, I knew that I was in a good time with this one and I really enjoyed this one. There is something about a "forbidden" love that just appeals to me. And Kandi Steiner really handled these forbidden aspects so well. I will admit though that it took a while for me to get into this one here. I do wish that it was easier to get into though. What I truly enjoyed about this one was seeing our couple really overcome the conflict together and seeing their bond for each other not be let go. The way that they fight for each other was simply precious and honestly, the ending was so beautifully done it made all the angst and forbidden journey to be so worth it! This one just had such a satisfying feel to it and the multiple epilogues was AWESOME! I never see that from authors so it was so refershing that Kandi Steiner use it within this one. I do feel like if its New Adult, its nice to see the multiple HEA's or the extended HEA ya know? Overall I had a blast with this one and I can't wait to explore more of this author's work!

Kandi keeps the booktok girlies FED. There’s even a reference to another booktok favorite (cough cough Rhys).

QB Sneak gives us forced proximity, neighbors to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, HE FALLS FIRST, and even love after loss. Holden Moore is a quarterback I’d want on my team any day of the week. Julep Lee is the coaches daughter with her own aspirations. This forbidden romance had me in a clutch and Kandi once again delivers. If you loved Blind Side you’re going to love this one.
