As with the author's first book, The Longest Night, I enjoyed the writing style and the dialogue, but the story was again, the rolling ball with no dips or bounces that just kept rolling until it stopped rolling. As with The Longest Night, the story could have gone on and on in the same fashion. The end of the story almost feels like the author got tired of telling the story, so she just quit.
