Say No More
Reviews

** spoiler alert ** Definitely read Say Your Sorry first. It gives tons of backround info on Eden and the past. and This on pics up a couple months after the first one ends. this book was so full of emotion as Mercy comes to terms with the anger she has always held towards her older brother for escaping the cult first. She was told that he escaped because he was lazy and didn't want to work. Then was killed while escaping. However when Mercys mother helped her escape after being brutalized by her husband at the age of 13 she finds out that Gideon is still alive, but her mother doesn't have time to tell Mercy the truth before she is killed. Now Mercy is working with Gideon and the police to find Eden once and for all and take it down. How ever her "husband" Ephriam has other plans. He wants to take over Eden and the only way to take down one of the leaders is to prove that he lied when he told everyone that Mercy died when she escaped. Mercy has been falling for Detective Rafe Sokolov since the first book, but we really get to see them interact and fall in love. Overcoming the traumas of the past for both of them. Ephraim doesn't waste anytime trying to take Mercy. In fact he ends up killing alot of innocent people on his rampage. all the while Gideon, Mercy, Rafe and the cops are all getting closer to finding Eden. When Mercys step father from Eden Amos finally realizes that Eden is wrong, and that Mercy might be alive he plans his escape with his daughter Abigail. When they are all reunited it was an emotional rollercoaster.. At one point we are introduced to FBI agent Tom Hunter... and it took me way to long to realize that its the Tom Hunter from the very first book Don't Tell. We meet tom when he was a young man still going to highschool. When I finally figured it I was so excited.. I think the next book is going to have him as a main character and that makes me sooooo happy.. if you love romantic suspense please read everything by Karen Rose.. All her books are top notch.. I can reread them over and over again,,

Didn't go quite as fast as first book. More innerworking/politics of Eden. But still really enjoyed
