I didn't really care for the plot, but as usual the characters are great! And that ending, loved it!

I'm honestly still really enjoying this series. They always start off with an exciting scene that is the catalyst of the rest of the story and this one was absolutely intense. An addictive read that kept me turning pages as there was once again a kidnapping. This time it hit a lot closer to home. So good.

this one was good and extremely fast paced however i wasn’t the biggest fan of how this was mostly based around the drug trade / cartel etc. not as thrilling as some of the others but still super good though

I did guess the big twist, but also I don't think Karin Slaughter books are about "big twists". They are about going on these gruesome adventures with the characters that she is unravelling more and more in each novel. I just adore Will Trent. (I absolutely hate Angie)

I did not know going into this book that it was the fifth book in the series so I was a little confused at first about what was going on and who everyone was. But then as I read more into the book my confusion was completely forgot about it and I was left in awe. The amount of thrills and mystery to this book is honestly gasp worthy and I loved every minute of it. I loved the characters especially Will and Faith and how well they worked together. This is a book you will not regret reading.
