Justice for mean beautiful women. 

The story was more interesting and the pacing was overall better than the one in the first book and i was going to give it 4 stars, but there is this certain scene that just doesnt sit right with me(between Will and Angie) so 3 stars it is.

Holy heck. It was IMPOSSIBLE to put this one down. Taking place over the course of 4 days, there are several kidnappings. The story starts off with a woman getting hit by a car, and believe it or not, that's actually the least of her worries and injuries. This one was dark and gruesome and so many chapters ended on such a note that I just had to keep reading. Hands down, this was freaking amazing.

Loved this, I think I will just keep repeating myself. Karin Slaughter is queen.

I love seeing the character development of Will and Faith. I can feel Will's pain and I just want to see him grow past it. The banter between characters was really great in this book. I actually found myself laughing out loud at some parts. 

The crime was gruesome and very interesting. Keeping me trapped the entire time. The introduction of Sara has me stoked to read more of her!

Well written and plotted but very dark. Reminds me of why I stopped reading Patricia Cornwall’s books and stopped watching Criminal Minds. Is it really necessary to read (listen) in great, gory detail a fiction about the horrific abuse of women? Isn’t there (unfortunately) already too much of it in real life? Nice character development of Will and his work partner Faith. Not so much about the enigma that is Angie. Or why his boss is so tough on him.

It was much more predictable than the previous two books, but still Slaughter's style remains amazing. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
