The Blood is Love A Dark Vampire Romance
Reviews

Anxious for more of this world “And I knew I would never ever be the same, that my life didn’t truly begin until I saw her, until I had her in my life. Until I had her love.” Solon and Lenore have a love for the ages. Their unspoken bond is like lightning. Unexpected and chocked full of energy. “The Blood Is Love,” by Karina Halle is book two in the Dark Eyes Duet. It picked up with us getting more of a backstory on Skarde - Solon’s father, mortal enemy and Vampire King. Bringing us to present day, it showcased Lenore battling with herself and her new found power. She struggled early on- but as the story changed, she became a force to be reckoned with. It showcased not only her fears, but with that it brought her new beginnings. Her and Solon’s relationship was put to the test several times; but what it gave us was a man who discredited his own heart, put the love of his life first in more ways than one. It started out at a much slower pace, but it quickly picked up and gave me the dark gritty vibes that I had been craving. It was definitely much more dark and twisted than I had anticipated, and the black magic and darkness that was attached to the story had me craving more. Overall this was a great ending to Absolon and Lenore’s story - and I can’t wait to see where this world goes next! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
