I have to admit I forgot the majority of what had happened in book one by the time I picked this up. Fortunately that didn't leave me too confused plot wise, but I definitely didn't buy into the romance till the end of the book. We spent a lot of time following, Celline (I might be spelling her name wrong) and I honestly did care about her and Geo's story line. The "final battle" or rather "the final confrontation" was rather anti-climatic. I'm not sure if I'll read book 3. Honestly the way this book ended you could just leave it at that. My kindle unlimited trail is ending soon, but if I pick it up again and book three is still available I might read it. I like how Nino and Haruka were communicating in the end. I think the romance is sweet, but a bit underdeveloped and I definitely wouldn't pick this book up just for the plot. With all that said, 3 stars may seem kind of high. But to me, three stars means I didn't dislike it or love it. It left me feeling meh.  Also, Geo's treatment of Nino (while to a degree understandable) was also frustrating. All these problems with Geo and his girl and Nino could have all been resolved a hundred years ago with a bit of communication.
