"london boy" and "lavender haze" by taylor swift
"I swear, you girls have an athlete radar, and it's going to be the death of me. Couldn't one of you end up with a lawyer or a teacher or a dog trainer or something?"
"Be careful that you don't anchor your thoughts so firmly on the past that it's hard for you to deal with your future, especially if part of that future is unclear."
reading about the ward family felt like coming home! i missed them so much!
i was expecting a different love interest for lia in the previous books but i actually love jude and lia together!! i feel like they are really meant for each other! lia is what jude needed and jude is what lia needed
"I don't know this guy, and I hope he is doing whatever you need him to do, but the second he doesn't, he has to answer to me, because that is my job. The moment you were born—you, Claire, Molly, Isabel, and Emmett—it became the most important responsibility of my life to make sure you're taken care of and loved the way you should be. I won't apologize for that."
ugh logan making me cry on a plane

3.5 love the ward family ??? 🥺

Floored by Karla Sorensen Ward Sisters Book 3 ★★★★ 4/5 Lia found herself in far away from home for a semester and her sister suggested that she let go for a night to try to help with her home sickness. She found a cute guy and ended up in bed with him, 3 weeks later she finds herself getting sick. Thankfully they had exchanged contact information and had been talking. That doesn’t mean that star football player is going to take it any better especially because his football career is looking like its going in the trash. Both of these characters need to go through a lot of development to get where they need to be in order to raise a family. Lia hasn’t even figured out what she wants to do with her career or if she even wants to be done with school yet. While Jude is about to lose his football career if he doesn’t pull his head out of his but. I enjoyed watching them struggle since i was also a young mom and I felt like i could relate in a way to their struggles. Jude and Lia also have undeniable chemistry. They go about things all wrong in their entire relationship.

ugh ward family best family!!!!!!

ehh not my favorite trope. also didn't really see why the characters were in love, more told than shown

Well, I’ve run out of Ward Sisters books to read and this makes me sad. Fortunately, the fourth book isn’t that far off. Surprise baby isn’t a go-to trope for me, but it’s one I tend to enjoy when I do read it. Floored was no exception. Jude and Lia had smokin hot chemistry and they were so easy to root for. Great read.
