Received an E-ARC from NetGalley! Katie West delivers again!

5 Stars ⭐️ I’m convinced Kasie West writes the cutest, most wholesome romances I’ve ever read! I’ve been reading her books for years now, and they’re all so good. I loved this one especially because of the road trip element! It was just so fun to read about all the different activities/ places Norah and Skyler went to together. I also loved the friends to enemies to lovers trope. I think it really worked for the plot of the book. All in all, I definitely recommend this one if you’re looking for a sweet YA romance🥰. The first part of the book was a but rough for me but it got better once they actually decided to be friends again. I did not really like any of the adults because I feel like they put too much pressure on Norah. She just wanted to hang out with her boyfriend. I received an arc through netgalley.

Ahhh this was so cute! I wasn't sure what I would think after reading the premise, but I'm so glad I enjoyed this! I really liked the way Norah and Skyler handled their relationship. It was hard at first, but even then I thought they were pretty mature. Then throughout I thought they did well at being as open and honest with each other as they could. I was sooo happy when they admitted their feelings for each other and kissed. Gosh I love childhood best friends to lovers! I really appreciated one of the messages this book addressed. The idea that it's okay to have a creative mind and not be afraid to show it. I definitely related to Norah in that way growing up. I had a hard time making friends because I was different from everyone else with my creative and "weird" mind. It was easier to act like a different person just so I could fit in. But growing up helped me realize it's okay to be my authentic self and no one else's opinion of who I was mattered. I'm so glad Kasie West creates these kinds of characters. She does an amazing job at making them relatable.
