Dragon is the second book in The Halloween Boys and man was it a RIDE. 

Our last book followed Blythe and Ames as they navigated the curse on Ash Grove and our characters. This one focuses on Dragons search for his family and who he really is. 

While the book focuses a lot on Dragon, we also learn a lot kore about Blythe and her strengths, I enjoyed reading her character grow too - as I was hoping it would happen.

Once again Kat does amazing with the world building and giving us context so we dont feel lost as the story progresses, the steamy scenes blend 
well with the storyline as well which is also a healthy bonus 🤩

my only grievance is that im DYING to see more of Blythe, I feel like theres so much more to her character and I’d like to see more of that.

The twists were fairly obvious but I still loved the book. I hate Vincent

This was fun. I was highly anticipating the release of the second installment of the Halloween boys series and am happy my hopes weren’t disappointed (my hopes as in: I was expecting a smutty distraction with decent storytelling and a bunch of funny lunatics in a magical and spooky setting. Yes, I’m in Halloween mood 365 days of the year.).

Hands down, Dragon was probably the character I was excited about most and I am happy we got to spend more time with him and getting to know his backstory. My opinion hasn’t changed but further solidified - Dragon is the coolest. Some plotlines weren’t groundbreaking innovative and didn’t surprise me, but it was still fun following along. I loved how casually modern the book is written and how effortlessly inclusiveness is integrated into the storytelling. There were some logic icks for me but as I didn’t expect a literal masterpiece, I‘m fine with it. 

Final thoughts: upside, the next two sequels will be published this year, downside Dragon‘s POV is over now ☹️
