Màiri Maguire Cozy Murder Mysteries

This is a good cozy mystery. While the main character is Mairi, the book gives brief narratives of other characters. 

I like that the author included a chart with information on the characters and their whereabouts. Mairi leaves side notes. These details added to the story. 

The ending left on an interesting cliffhanger.

In the end I loved this book and boy what an ending it had! 

The beginning was a bit so so and I had a hard time keeping up with everybody and the different perspectives. I also kept forgetting that this book was happening in the 70s world, not today. However, things got better ones things started rolling in Paris and I finally started to have a clue what was going on. The plot was good and there were still a lot of surprises even though we got glimpses of different characters doings all the time. 
The characters are all super interesting and I especially loved Ellis. He’s a mystery still but I absolutely adore him. I so hope he’s a big character in the next book as well. 
I do like Màiri too. She is a delight. 
Like I said before, I cannot believe the ending and I’m now madly waiting for the next book because I simply must know what happens!
