Once again, they’ve pulled it off! While I missed the anticipation of “will they or won’t they” it’s replaced with plenty more anticipation in the plot. Our favorite quad faces bigger issues as they go into hiding and try to outsmart the Trilogy, with one of them hiding on the inside. As trouble runs deeper than anticipated, how can they stay one step ahead? With sass and overwhelming (in few best way) spice of course. Honestly the whole book reads like a bit of a car chase with twist, turns, and excitement around each corner. I will say it’s ever so slightly less so than the other two books which made it a slower read for me, but it’s so hard to top the surprises books 1 and 2 brought along. And in the romance department, I can’t think of an RH that has a better balance in and out of the bedroom.
