Had this on my Amazon wish list and checked it out from the library. The story follows 4 sisters/cousins during a turbulent time in Rome's history when there were 4 emperors in as many years and how their lives were intertwined with this history. A really good look at Roman history and culture.

Roos Kuijper 

I liked this one a lot more than Mistress of Rome and am really curious to see how the other books in this series are!
