This was a perfect end to the ravenhood series really painful but good. It was dual pov and showed Tobias’ history from his pov and his current life w Cecelia and she forgave him and they live happily ever after in France after Cecelia plans a whole killing and outsmarted Tobias at her house. She was secretly plotting it the whole time while showing the facade of a normal life and working at her cafe .

One of the best series I’ve ever read. Not sure I know how to put into words how beautifully gut-wrenching these books are. I recommend this series to every single person who asks me!!

The raven hood series will live in my head rent free forever. I was skeptical after the first few chapters of this one (especially after exodus WRECKED/SHATTERED/DESTROYED ME), but eventually I fell in love with the storytelling just as I did with the first two books. I cried, I laughed and cried some more. The twist had me screaming and the witty banter had me howling. I love the way she ended this book. The epilogue was the cherry on top and I adore Kate for gifting us that. I’m fully aware this series will cause a serious book hangover and put me in a rut. But I mean how could you not fall in love with another round of fictional men with wings? END OF.

Again, the ending of this book saved the rating of this book. A 400+ page book that could have been less than 300 pages and got the job done without having to hear about the wishy washy main character.

I’ll start by saying I’ve always been someone who loves with their heart wide open, in search of that all consuming love. 

This story has completely overwhelmed me. I’ve laughed, cried, sobbed. I fell in love with the boys of summer, that rain cloud broke my heart, and king put it back together. 

Love is messy, and complicated and scary and life gets in the way. But this story opened my eyes to how truly unique and special love is. How you can love many and love hard. 

I feel like I live in this world, like I’ve been claimed, like I bear the mark. This world has stollen my heart. 

I will forever be grateful that I read this story, I hung on every single beautiful word. I don’t know if a day will go by that I don’t think about this story.

Ok, I decided to finish this one lmao.

Michelle's character really grew on me the more that I read. I guess learning more about why she was the way she was made me understand her personality better, and the more I think about it, the more I really admired her ability to open her heart up to Rowdy after what she went through. 

Like.. she knew it would probably end in heartbreak because of Rowdy's complete unwillingness to commit and yet she still let herself fall for him.

Rowdy was very sweet (when he wasn't being a complete asshole) and I really liked his character development, but oof, we sure had to wait for it lmao. Men that can't committ and keep the fmcs at arms length are my least favorite to read about, but he completely won me over once he reached the turning point. I loved the way he tried to earn Michelle back.

All in all, I think I can give this 4 stars putting aside some of my personal issues. 

Will I ever read a cop romance again? Probably not, but I'm glad I ended up finishing this one.

I really like Kate Stewart's books, but oof. This one was not for me. I hate to do this, but I had to DNF at 41%.

Maybe it was the whole cop element? Very much not my thing. Had I known it was about cops prior to reading, I would have skipped it altogether. 

Though I felt for Michelle and her past trauma, I also wasn't a fan of her character. I loved that she was strong and resilient, but her personality was not my vibe.

I got to 20%, read a different book, and then jumped back in. I should have just let it go lol.

I'm not giving it a rating as I feel my personal opinions towards cops negatively swayed my impression of this book and I don't think that's fair to the author sooo, I'll just leave it at that.

this definitely wasn’t my favorite in the series but it was a good book to wrap up the series! it was also really nice getting some more backstory for tobias. i do feel like i wish we had more with sean. i really liked him and wish that story was explored a bit more. tobias honestly wasn’t my fave out of the three so i’m left feeling a bit unsatisfied, but i still enjoyed it overall!

Ugh. I hated that I liked this a lot more than the last one. I really didn’t think Tobias could redeem himself and I pitied Cecilia more than she probably deserved. But I still liked it.

I should have left this series where Exodus ended. But I could not leave the third book unread. A bit slow for me but overall I liked it.

Okay, I liked this one more than the other two. 
Finally I understand more of the ravenhood and more about Tobias. 
Also, I was truly happy to see Cecelia becoming more an adult and that last part with Sean? It was a real nice ending.

Finally done with this series. These are not standalones so you do have to read them in order, but it’s worth it. I did struggle to get through this last one but the last chapter makes it worth it. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the series as I read the first book but then I was hooked. They have the spice, plot twists, heartbreak, and secrets…. I love some of the characters sm 🧎🏻‍♀️
