This is a great book set in the Old West. I love how the chapters go back and forth with the story of the two main characters, wondering how their stories will converge. Nate is an all-around good guy who anyone would like. Lucinda is quite different. At first I really liked her, then despised her for her actions, then felt sorry for her. I was sad when the story was over. It was a very fun read. I also enjoyed The Heretic's Daughter by Kent, and am looking forward to reading The Wolves of Andover.
