This book opened my eyes to foster care/homes. It was shocking and heart breaking and made me want to get out and help those children that need it. However, it also made me realize that I would never be strong enough to do what Kathy Harrison and her husband did and continue to do. I loved the honesty of the challenges they faced, the daily guilt they felt, and the joys and hope that they had. I strongly recommend this to everyone.
