this was a solid story, I enjoyed the plot, which was interesting and unique. The characters were all great too. But I just didn't get sucked in.

This book is so amazing in this delightfully creeptastical way, I swear. When I went upstairs carrying this book to my room, I found the air conditioner on and I didn't turn it on at all in the past few weeks (it turned out to be my sister's doing, but still... creepy!) 

I love the way Bad Girls Don't Die is written, and Alexis is a cool character. I think my favorite characters were Kasey and Megan; Kasey really does love Alexis, and you can see that - she tries to fight off Sarah's spirit, with whatever strength her good side has left. And Megan is just so much nicer than you think, always supportive and very brave.. if I knew my friend's sister was trying to kill me, I wouldn't go near their house, but she went in and helped Alexis fight Kasey and drive out Sarah's spirit. A sweet, semi-romantic and very creepy book that is totally awesome.. definitely looking forward to the rest of the series!

I'm not sure why I gave this book 3 stars before. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book! I know I loved it the first time I read it (before I used goodreads) and not too sure what happened the second time.

I honestly didn't want to stop reading this book (I feel like I say that so often) and I really mean it. I know I've read this book before, but it had been so long, I didn't remember much. A few reviews I read said they felt the book was predictable, which I agree to some extent. There are some areas when you can clearly tell what is going to happen but that doesn't ruin anything. 

The only thing that bothered me, which didn't until reading reviews, was Carter. Someone pointed out his character really had no purpose. They are correct. Very little would have changed if Carter was in it. Yes, in the end, he was kind of important. In all honesty though, that could have been Lydia who walked in as well and the ending could have been pretty much the same. Now, there are two more books so it is possible that Carter becomes more important, so I am not super bothered.

well to start off, i got kind of scared while i was reading this,:( probably because its the first horror book i read. other than that, its a interesting book !! I liked how alexis has pink hair and how she dealed with the creepy doll taking over her little sister! omg this author can write a novel so good that i didnt wanted it to end!!! icant wait to read the sequel and find out what happens to kasey!!!!

Uhm.. non è che non mi sia proprio piaciuto, è che alla fin fine mancava quel qualcosa che poteva rendere il libro veramente bello. La trama di per sé non brillava in originalità: casa infestata da fantasmi, che prendono proprio la figlia più piccola (gli horror giapponesi mi hanno insegnato che le persone da temere di più sono sempre le più innocenti, ovvero bambine sotto i 12). 
Poteva risolversi in modo migliore, ma così non è stato. 
I ciondoli praticamente magici sono stata la trovata peggiore, e la stessa protagonista sembrava non essere poi così spaventata di avere una sorella posseduta in casa. Cioè, saluta l'amica dicendole che venire a casa sua è troppo pericolosa ma cosa fa lei? torna a casa, il massimo che riesce a fare è dormire in camera con la madre. Grande soluzione.

This was so cool! I couldn't believe how interesting ghosts and a possessed 12 year old can be. This was my first book I've ever read from Katie Alender and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. It was a cool concept and was written very nicely and well-paced. Everything happened at a perfect time, and I never once got bored. So, Alexis is the typical outsider in school, she wears her own fashion, has different coloured hair and what not. Basically, she doesn't care what anyone thinks, especially the mean cheerleaders. Her little sister now, Kasey, just wants fit in. She's best friends with the ever so mean cheerleader's little sister... until Kasey breaks her arm. I mean just from the synopsis, how Kasey's eyes turn green, she's talking in 18th century language and she is loosing her memory... it's pretty clear that Kasey is possessed. It also doesn't help that Kasey has a strange obsession with dolls, like her whole room has shelves after shelves of dolls just sitting.. staring.. yikes. Alexis, being a normal yet dysfunctional teenager doesn't want to believe anything's wrong with her sister but when dangerous and violent things start happening in her home and to her family, she cant keep overlooking the strange things Kasey does anymore. 

This book, to say the least, was... creepy. It definitely had that creepy, ghost, chill factor. Very paranormal and even has romance in it. I loved the events adding up to the end, they were creepy and Kasey especially was creepy. She did a lot of horrible things, to her friends, her family and finally at the end, to her sister. It's gong to be interesting to read how the real Kasey is going to live on seeing as I'm sure she can remember everything she's done, or at least be told. After all, she is just a 12 years old girl. I really can't wait to read and review the next book in this series, and see how Alender can create even more creepiness.

This book was the first ever paranormal book I have read and I wasn't disappointed! It was easy to read and really motivated me to read the other books! This book was a page turner and the characters were really cute, but there was a lack of character development with our main girl but over all it was good!! This book was recommended by Marzia (CutiePie)

Bad Girls Don't Die was a really great book, but it wasn't as scary as I first thought it would be. This book wasn't intense either, but it was a nice, cute ghost story.

I loved getting to know the characters. I felt that the romance in this book was nice, but I think there could have been more on how the relationship between Carter and Alexis developed and grew throughout the story.

This is a nice book that I definitely recommend, just don't read it expecting to be hiding under your covers at night from how scary it was.

Ok I started 10-25-10 and just finished it tonight, OMG! This is one of my new favorite books seriously. I loved loved it. I haven't read many books as of right now, but this by far was the scariest one. I know that sounds a little crazy seeing as how it doesn't look or seem that way from the excerpt it tells. How can dolls be scarey right? Just you wait and read. I guarentee you I won't look at dolls the same way (especially if they have green eyes)
I kid you not while I was reading this I stayed with my mom and she would go to bed and I'd be sitting on the bed reading and not wanting to get up to go in the kitchen or anything with the lights off. 

At the beginning of the story everything seemed as normal as it could be for Alexis. As she stood outside her creepy old Victorian house taking pictures at 3am. Then she heard noises
what could it have been? 

I loved the MC, Alexis she wasn't the typical pretty girl or whatnot, and she definitely has an attitude that says she doesn't give a rat's butt (yes that's what I said). Through out most the book she was kind of a loner (she did have the "doom squad" every once in awhile) Then BAM a hit in the head with a door by Carter and her feelings toward the popular kids went down a notch...sorta.. She tried to make him go away, but he just kept coming back (Why turn down a hot guy?) That is one friendship that began to blossom. Then somehwere down the line she became friends with some others. I liked how Alexis could finally look past who they were and give them a chance.

In the end things will suprise you. I can say that at one part in the book I was like are you kidding me? Don't do it damn it! Don't! it all worked out though. :)

I finished this book in one night! It was that addictive; I just had to know what was going to happen. There was never a dull moment, it kept you guessing right until the very end. 

I can not wait until the next book by Alender is released - 'FROM BAD TO CURSED' coming 14/6/2011

Also book 3 which is hitting stores the summer of 2012!

•Eu já estou com esse livro na lista de que queria ler desde 2014/2015 e posso dizer que eu mudei bastante desse tempo para cá mas concerteza eu já sabia meu estilo de livro.
•A Alexis é uma personagem que é bem interessante de se ler pois ela tem aquela contradição adolescente mas não chega a ser chata, a Megan também é outra que acaba sendo bem interessante de se ler e eu consegui me apegar a ela, Kaseya irmã mais nova acaba sendo difícil de comentar sobre pelo oque acontece com ela no decorrer do livro é o Carter honestamente é maravilhoso.
•Os personagens parecem pessoas reais e tem um bom desenvolvimento (tirando a Lydia uma amiga da Alexis mas eu soube que ela é desenvolvida melhor depois)
•A possessão de espírito nesse livro tem consequências para os envolvidos o que pode parecer algo que tem que ser óbvio ao escrever algo do estilo mas estamos falando de um livro que é para o público adolescente.

At times it was really scary, and I like it. A good book for me is a book that keeps me awake at night, listening closely in case some ghost moves anything! Good.
