Standing in the Forest of Being Alive

not particularly moved by this collection, maybe two poems with stand out lines (why write love poetry in a burning world? and what is the door/the bullet makes/ in the body?) but the project in writing a series of poems about illness and america, and because/despite of that writing interlocuting love poems is a beautiful one, and revolution in its own right. an interesting study in the short poem, but I just wanted this collection to be more
