A reverse harem paranormal romance with many yummy alpha monster mates. Absolutely one of my favorite tropes. I really enjoyed this story about a blind girl who grew up in a compound being tortured and experimented upon, and after gaining her freedom immediately finds herself imprisoned which is where she begins to meet the monstrously beautiful alpha men who will claim her heart. I absolutely loved the characters, although I'll admit that Nina's character was a bit of a contradiction between being overtly naive, but also knowing certain terms and slang. I honestly can't choose a favorite among the men because they were all so great in different ways. The romance played out interestingly, not sure if it was a fully logical progression, but I still enjoyed it. The steamy scenes were relatively decent, I've read both worse and better. The atmosphere and world was pretty cool and unique, I've never really read about a magical prison labyrinth. I would recommend this book, and I plan to pick up the second book.
