His motives may have been pure but as with many a male shifter he put his foot in it and tried to "save" Kat from his enemies. Kat is more than match for most of Jayce's enemies in either of her forms - she didn't survive being an arms dealers daughter by being a simpering damsel in distress!

The Antiparanormal League (APL) ware still causing problems in Fontana. And they'll happily sacrifice a human or two to get their way.
