I didn’t expect to like this book that I have now given 4 stars, simply because I was skeptical with the slow start, but it got interesting halfway, and the plot twist is definitely something that I would have never expected

Louise is a murder victim, but she lives in the near future where cloning technology is available, so she was “brought back” to live with other 4 other women who were also victims of the same serial killer. They meet in a support group every week, but they have lost their short term memories, so they rely on the stories of the others to figure out what happened to them
.
It’s “whodunnit” slash futuristic slash drama, that Williams managed to execute very well.

I loved this story. So interesting. The author writes in such a descriptive, vivid way that you can easily envision every part of the book. 10/10 recommend if you like speculative thriller/sci fi vibey books.

A good read.. finished in 2 reading sessions on the plane. A bit disappointed with the ending.. I suppose all mystery are like that. minders rarely live up to the hype.

This book has such good exploration of motherhood and what it means to be your "self". I believe Silas deserves the husband of the year award. He ate.

I feel like this would be a great book for anyone looking to get into Sci-Fi. Everything in this book felt like it was a not so distant future of possibilities. 

This book will leave you questioning what makes a person, a person and if we were to clone people would they still be that same person or would they be someone completely new? I also appreciated the commentary on the exploitation of victims and the romanticization of serial killers.

I liked it! A nice twist on a classic tale - definitely doesn’t read like your usual sci-fi book, as it’s got a lot of extra emotion and wry humor. I was very interested and the story was told at a great pace. Not my favorite, but worth reading!
