This book had a little bit of everything the enemies to lovers, a little smut, sarcastic comments, and a lovable inner circle. I can’t wait to start book 2 🥰

I loved this book! The circumstances, plot, and even the world felt so original and fresh, which, after reading so many fantasy novels, I feel like it’s hard for me to not feel like too much is borrowed from another storyline. That was not the case for this one at all, though aspects did give me FBAA vibes, but that just made this story even better. I was so captivated by Braze and Idilia’s  dynamic and predicament that I plowed through this book. Can’t wait for the next.

Absolutely great debut for this author. 
Great storyline, the pacing is good and you learn a bit of everything that went in the main characters’ past. 
Idalia is probably my least favorite character… not found of her as a fmc but Braizen is a super interesting mmc, Lorna and Lin are incredible side characters. However the best one is without any doubts, Torrent. I absolutely loved him (so I’m incredibly happy with the acknowledgments at the end). 

I liked how it ended in a cliffhanger but not a terrible one. Very excited to see where this storyline is gonna go.
