Fractured Honor
Reviews

Fab new series to get your teeth stuck into! This series revolves around a collection of former special forces operatives who return home. In this book Beckett has returned to his home town in Oregon and takes over the business from his ailing father. Now that he's back he is trying to settle into some sort of normalcy but he has a complicated history with his best friends little sister and although he feels attracted to her, he feels to broken inside to do anything about it. Using a builder/general contractor role for the hero allows the stage to be set to bring in other former special forces operatives to either help out and/or use the physical work to help alleviate some of their issues reintegrating to stateside life. Beckett may look quite intimidating but one lonely little girl sees a kindred soul in him and his dog and seeks him out for comfort and safety. Beckett is no sap though, when one of his employees starts to slack he kicks him to kerb, whilst also making sure that he doesn't take it out on his poor wife. Sierra is a vet, strong and loyal friend and all around nice girl. She knows that Beckett can't quite get over the fact that she is now a grown woman but that doesn't stop her lusting after him. Small town setting for big time mystery and thriller. Great storyline with lots of twists and a couple of moments were I wanted to reach through the book and strangle a few folk! Can't wait to see how the series develops - we're off to an exceptional start!
