ishigami is such an interesting character. the way his mind works is actually insane, and watching him and yukawa slowly try to outsmart each other was easily my favorite part. their whole dynamic had me hooked because you can tell they’re both ridiculously smart, just in completely different ways.

it has been a long time since plot twist actually twisted me inside and caught me off guard. brilliant narrative, i love the way keigo placed the clues throughout the story and successfully blind me until these clues punch me in the face. very thrilling as well, we're going through the same journey as the characters and we're guessing where their thoughts matter. i am a sucker for character driven narration and this book fits that, balanced with the creative mystery case. the last chapter of this book shows you why this book is titled as such; it is all about devotion after all. jujur nangis bang
