This is such a unique story for a manga. This follows a mother who finds out her son is autistic, something that seems to not be very knowledgeable in Japan. She has to do research and learn what it means to have autism and what she will have to do as a parent. Her struggles with her friends who end up not being supportive and her husband who happens to not understand the what she goes through as a stay at home mom with a child with autism. 
I really think this can teach many people what its like to raise an autistic child. It is hard being a parent in general, this is even harder. The author doesn't shy away from the honest feelings a parent must feel with a child who doesn't know how to express their feelings and affection they way the majority due. I think many parents of autistic children would appreciate how realistic this portrays parents feelings. I had a hard time reading how mean and rude people were because they were so uneducated and made me think how often that must happen to moms and dads everyday. When their child throws a fit in the supermarket and the surrounding people automatically jump to them not being a good parent or disciplining their child enough. I really recommend this to anyone who would like to expand their reading tastes and read a different story about family.
