omg excited for jordie’s book <3

My second read from, Kendall Ryan. This Hockey’s Alpha Man Romance is really really tripping me off! I love every single bits of the story. And, Grant?! Jesus! I love Grant 💕 It was quit sad that Hunter was not his but still he loves her so much and it warm my heart.

SWEET BABY MOTHER OF...Grant!!! Oh my word the heart on this man! There's just something so (insert heart eyes, drooly face, and all the oohs ahhs and panty melting emojis) about an alpha male that calls his woman baby. Its sweet, its endearing, it's romantic, and it completely softens the hard exterior they put on. Ok rant about Grant now over. On to Ana. I loved Ana about 95% of the time, there's were times when I kept thinking "dumb girl, LOOK at this man, LOOK at how he loves you" but in the end I still love her. Shes strong, bold, and brave. This love story is WILD! Hence the title. 😂 I absolutely love the never ending, always noticed spark between these two. From the very beginning when he was watching her across the room, you could feel that palpable tension. 😍🔥 I don't wanna spoil it for yall, so just buy the book. 👌

3.5 stars Before I start my review of Wild for You, I would like to take a second and mention the fact that there is domestic abuse in this book. Only at the beginning, but it is there and I know this could be hard for some readers! Wild for You is by far the most serious book in the Hot Jocks series. Like I said above, this book deals with domestic violence and is definitely intense the first few chapters. I think the author dealt with this well, but it's possibly also a reason I didn't love this one as much as the others. Don't get me wrong I really loved Grant (I didn't connect with Ana as much), but the whole romance aspect felt a bit fast even if it is slowburn in many ways. Grant is my favorite when it comes to the male characters in this series so far. He is mostly to himself, but as captain he really cares for his team. And he doesn't think twice when Ana needs his help. Grant feels the need to protect Ana and even loves doing this. I think he likes to feel needed and actually enjoyed having someone around to care for. A relationship was the last thing on his mind, but I guess you can't help what you feel? Grant had me smiling while reading, because he was just so sweet and I loved how that came so naturally. Ana has had enough in her abusive relationship and luckily is able to get out. She needs to process everything and learn to stand on her own two feet. I'm going to be honest and say that I didn't really connect with Ana at all. There were moments that made me like her and enjoy her story, but certain things she did kind of annoyed me. Ana definitely was a strong character and it was good to see her able to take care of herself and take control back over her life. The romance was still steamy and fun in Wild for You, but the tension and build up to everything was different in this story. Seeing the events before everything starts, I completely understand that, but the author definietly had me laughing less while reading. Sometimes it even felt off, but in the end I do like how things ended and come together! When I read the last page, I did have a smile on my face. Also, what I love about these books connecting in one way or another, I got to see all of the characters I've come to love. This is an amazing group and definitely a team that's become family. I loved how the friendships were developed in Wild for You and reminds me why I love sports romances so much. I'm really excited to read Jordie's story next!

Goddamn.

Grant is definitely my favorite ❤️❤️ I was waiting to read about him and Ana and it was totally worth the wait. I loved how sweet and attentive he was, I just wanted to hug him most of the time.
