Aiden: I loved submersing myself back into the lives of the Riveaux family!! It takes place just after book 1 (Jace story) and centres on Rayna, the best friend of Luc and Aiden, his brother.

Luc and Rayna have been friends since childhood and now share a house but friends are all they will ever be as Rayna has had her heart set on Aiden for years. Yes he is a playboy and she's seen the amount of women he has gone through but she still lusts after him.

Aiden has never thought about settling down but Rayna has crept under his skin and into his bed!! He's not sure how Luc is going to take it when he finds out that they have sneaked about behind his back. Throw in mistaken identities and the return of those hateful hunters and there's passion, action and dange galore!

This books is part of the "Mating Season" pack series - 6 books from 6 authors, 6 different packs and all relate to alphas finding their mates. So looking forward to Luc's story!!

Luc does not want a mate!! After he and his brothers were abandoned by their mother, he doesn't want that hurt again. But his brothers are all mated now and one of Skye's model friends is getting under his skin...and into his bed. It's only a short fling as he knows Arianna isn't staying long. But she knows he's a shifter and seems to have accepted things quite well. Will she stay or run back to New Orleans???

Arianna is enjoying time with her best friend in the gorgeous bayou and Luc is a wonderful bonus. But the danger he and his pack live with are dredging up bad memories from her childhood and she wants a safe, steady life. NO excitement of the dangerous variety.

I loved meeting the couples from the earlier books and seeing how mated life has changed them. Great snappy writing and heartstopping action. It was great seeing the relationship build between Luc and Arianna. Arianna may be a model and want a quiet life but she has nerves of steel and will fight to keep her loved ones safe!!

Something different

So I gave this a three star rating because it was enjoyable..and different. In the three books we are dealing with the same villain and nothing really develops. It just seems as though the Riveauxs brothers can easily get rid of the villain. I would have liked to see more from the villains side of things.
