OMFG! What the hell did I just read?! Words can't even begin to describe what I just read. There are just no words. I'm an incoherent mess. This is a story that will haunt me. I will not be forgetting this book for a long long time. Just....wow.

The story is about Jane. She and her sister were kidnapped by this psycho guy named Benny. He called Jade his dirty little doll and her sister Macy his pretty little doll. This dude was obsessed with dolls as you can clearly tell. Jade manages to escape and vows to get her sister back...by any means necessary. 

Jade is broken. She is so very broken and my heart hurts for her. She definitely has some pretty severe PTSD. She does not think with a rationality. She was taken at the age of 14, which is a very hard time for girls. The brain is developing and hormones are raging. She will probably always have issues communicating effectively and will probably always be in a fight mentality for a very long time. And who could blame her? She was raped and tortured for four years until she was finally able to escape. Her heart breaks everyday because she had to leave her sister behind. 

The entire concept of Benny wanting pretty dolls was just beyond creepy. I hate dolls. Their eyes stare right into your soul. Their eyes follow you when you are moving. Always watching. Ugh. Now I have the creeps. Which I am pretty certain is what the author wanted. She wanted you to feel the creepiness. 

The shining light in this dark book was the relationship between Dillion and Jade. He was perfect for her. With her ex boyfriend, Bo, he didn't understand Jade. He didn't get how broken she was. He didn't understand the guilt she lived with everyday knowing she had to leave her sister behind with that monster. Dillion understands that. He grounds her and calms her when it gets to be too much. He knows what it is like to lose someone you love to a monster. 

This book is not for the faint of heart. I had some reviews on this book but I did not expect it to be so dark and twisted. This book will mess with your emotions. It will make you sick. It will make you so angry you can't see the words. Read this at your own risk because there is a reason it's for 18 years and older.

Sade A

so yeah..WTF though!!! like seriously, that was one seriously twisted, crazy ass villan. Totally hope we get some inkling on what his story is... Loved the pace of the book and lawd that villian was a twisted piece of crap. Can't say that it scared me (not sure it would have scared anyone though), no gore as such but the sick, twisted ways Benny derives his sick pleasure more than covers that area. 

All in all Really great book and it totally keeps you on the edge, Looking forward to the concluding part of the series, totally marked Nov 28th down.
