Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin
Reviews

They finally got the tone right.

I’ll read a graphic novel once, maybe twice a year. Hubby bought this book for him to read but I took one look at the artwork and immediately had to check it out.
Artwork- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It’s so incredibly colorful and detailed. Some images alone made me feel exactly what was intended. Pictures that can evoke that much emotion is truly such an amazing talent! Well done!
Characters- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved seeing some familiar but aged faces and was rather surprised by some new ones. The villains have always been unevenly matched so it was exciting to see a different version of the foot clan and some high powered tech fighters.
Storyline- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I kind of wish the suspense of who the last ronin was would have lasted a little longer but it was still surprising. The last mutant ninja turtle carrying the weight of his fallen brothers weapons and a vengeance that took over a decade to claim could have went on for so much longer. I did very much enjoy that it was the final war between the turtles and the Oroku bloodline.
There could have also been more added about the mutagen exposure that somehow clung to Casey’s dna making her stronger and faster than normal but maybe some things were held back so new stories could be written. I honestly just want more of it!
It’s a must read for any tmnt fan! 🐢
