This anthology of 'own voice' short stories is bloody delightful. It encompasses all sorts of tales, from fantasy and dystopian, to realistic fiction and surrealism. We follow a range of Queer teenagers from a wide variety of backgrounds, as they endure love at first sight, questioning their sexuality, break ups, rejections, flipped realities, unsupportive friends, wedding planning, the shunning of their voice, desire, lost loved ones, and coming out. It was a wonderful way to sample some great Aussie authors. I did enjoy the stories with relationships already in place or those with a slow build, over the 'love and kiss at first sight scenario, but overall these stories were top notch.
