el libro es increíble en la forma en la que te captura y no te suelta, amo porque a lo contrario de otros libros casi no hay escenas de sexo (GRITA ) y así y todo es genial, en sus caras autoras que no pueden si no ponen escenas de sexo casi dos paginas (igual también las tkm a veces) pero aaaaa estoy enamorada de todo

I’m losing my mind.

I started this book more interested in the murders than I am with the romance but I grew to like Elena and Kon. All the side characters are also interesting and it was fun to read their interactions, especially Roman and Danika.

It was also nice to read how Elena assimilated into the family. And saying that, I didn’t expect the twist towards the end of the book.

Después de conocer un poco a Elena y Konstantin en The Rocchetti Dynasty estaba demasiado emocionada para saber cómo sería su historia, dado lo peculiar que ambos eran y no me decepciono. Algo que me gusta de la autora es que comienza con acción y te atrapa desde la primera página, comenzando con el pasado de Konstantin me pareció muy bueno para marcar el tono de la historia. 

Después de destruir a los Falcones, Konstantin toma su lugar como uno de los líderes de Nueva York y trae la mafia Rusa a la escena, mientras que Elena llevaba una vida miserable a lado de los Falcones y sin ganas de regresar a Chicago, por lo que, decidió ir con Konstantin donde conoció a la familia de él, termino haciendo un trabajo para ellos y ganar la libertad que tanto desea. Hasta el momento que descubre un secreto que podría costar la vida de todos, a la vez que esposas, hijas y sobrinas de mafiosos comienzan a ser asesinadas de una manera cruel. 

Para comenzar Elena es increíble me sentí muy identificada con ella, su relación y calma que siente con la naturaleza, así como su amor por la ciencia me encantaron, ella es una protagonista fuerte y directa que no tiene miedo de hablar, que por desgracia ha vivido cosas horribles a manos de hombres y esta desesperada por vivir como desea. Mientras que Konstantin literalmente peleo por su vida desde que era pequeño contra sus hermanos y padre, me gusto que pensara antes de actuar, respetaba a Elena y aceptaba su actitud. Ame el desarrollo de su relación, como poco a poco creció la confianza que Elena le tenía a Konstantin y acepto que él no le haría daño fue muy lindo.

Me gusto que si bien el libro es de romance no era el punto principal de la historia, la trama fue muy buena y me la pase intentado averiguar quién era el que estaba causando los problemas, debo decir que como nunca me equivoco después de unas escenas ya sabía quién era el culpable, todo era muy lindo para ser cierto pero aun así 
fue sorpresivo. 

Ya amaba el mundo que había creado la autora pero me gusto que ahora tratara un poco más otras mafias, tenemos de Japón (yakuza), China (Triadas) e Irlanda, un club de motociclistas por ahí, ¿eso significa que tendremos series de ellos?, en fin, me gusto leer eso y las reuniones que tenían.

Ahora los personajes secundarios, AMO.
Roman no es lo que esperas para nada, me encanto ver sus peleas con Danika y como ella podría parecer como una joven inocente y no es para nada eso, si no terminan juntos me va a doler demasiado. Natasha solo apareció por unas pocas escenas y eso fue suficiente para que la ame espero escuchar más de ella en el futuro.

Artyom y Roksana tienen una historia la cual me gustaría escuchar porque son tan lindos, Artyom al principio no me gustaba nada pero después de ver como se relacionó con Elena y como trataba a Roksana lo ame. 

Para finalizar, me gusto bastante el libro y ese FINAL me mato, QUEDÉ, estoy harta de las autoras que deciden romperme el corazón ya no puedo más, necesito saber la continuación, necesito respuestas. En serio les recomiendo este libro es increíble, buenos personajes y trama, también lean The Rocchetti Dynasty porque la historia es igual de magnifica, Bree Porter se ha convertido oficialmente en una de mis autoras favoritas del año.

After getting to know Elena and Konstantin a bit at The Rocchetti Dynasty I was too excited to know what their story would be like given how quirky they both were and I wasn't disappointed. Something I like about the author is that she starts with action and grabs you from the first page, starting with Konstantin's past I found it very good to set the tone for the story.

After destroying the Falcones, Konstantin takes his place as one of New York's leaders and brings the Russian mob to the scene, while Elena led a miserable life alongside the Falcones and unwilling to return to Chicago, she decided to go with Konstantin where she met his family, she ended up doing a job for them in order to gain the freedom she desired. Until the moment she discovers a secret that could cost everyone's life, as the wives, daughters and nieces of mobsters begin to be murdered in a cruel way.

To begin, Elena is incredible, I felt very identified with her, her relationship and how calm she feels with nature, as well as her love for science enchanted me, she is a strong and direct protagonist who is not afraid to speak, which unfortunately has lived horrible things at the hands of men and is desperate to live as she wants. While Konstantin literally fought for his life since he was little against his brothers and father, I liked that he thought before acting, he respected Elena and accepted her attitude. Love the development of their relationship, how little by little the trust that Elena had in Konstantin grew and accepted that he would not hurt her, it was very sweet.

I liked that although the book is about romance, it was not the main point of the story, the plot was very good and I spent it trying to find out who was causing the problems, I must say that since I am never wrong after a few scenes I already knew who the culprit was, it was all too nice to be true but it was still surprising.

I already loved the world that the author had created but I liked that now she dealt with other mafias a little more, we have Japan (yakuza), China (Triads) and Ireland, a motorcycle club out there, does that mean that we will have series of them?, love the meetings they had.

Now the supporting characters, I LOVE THEM.
Roman is not what you expect at all, I loved seeing his fights with Danika and how she could seem like an innocent young woman and it’s not that at all, if they don't end up together it will hurt too much. Natasha only appeared for a few scenes and that was enough to make me love her I hope to hear more from her in the future.

Artyom and Roksana have a story which I would like to hear because they are so cute, Artyom at first I didn't like him at all but after seeing how he softened to Elena and how he treated Roksana I loved him.

To finish, I liked the book a lot and that ENDING killed me, I'm sick of authors who decide to break my heart I can't take it anymore, I need to know the continuation, I need answers. I seriously recommend this book is incredible, good characters and plot, also read The Rocchetti Dynasty because the story is just as magnificent, Bree Porter has officially become one of my favorite authors of the year.
