Counterfeit

I enjoyed reading this book, though I think it’s pretty generic. The writing style reminded me a lot of Crazy Rich Asians (though I didn’t finished reading that book) and Dial A for Aunties. The plot is okay, played into some Chinese/Asian stereotype, but… okay. It was fun, everything was jam-packed and fast-paced once the counterfeit scheme finally started. But it didn’t left any marks on me. It’s just one of those books you read for fun, to get out of a slump, or when you need a break from heavier novels. I didn’t think too much while reading it, that’s probably why Counterfeit didn’t left a deep impression for me.
