In the city of Ergastulum, a shady ville filled with made men and petty thieves, whores on the make and cops on the take, there are some deeds too dirty for even its jaded inhabitants to touch. This manga is certainly not for the faint hearted and it is incredible. The dynamic protagonists, Nico and Worick have an interesting and certainly questionable friendship and business as they lead their lives as 'Handymen' in the shady city of Ergastulum. A city populted with gangs, killers, whores, thieves, questionable cops and mafia families.
I really enjoyed this manga and all of the characters I encountered. I'm keen to find out more about the 'tags'/'twilights' and how they came to be, as well as the premise of the friendship of Nico and Worick.
My favourite thing about Gangsta is the range of themes it covers such as sex, drugs, money, power, hierarchy, prostitution and friendship. It will be interesting to see how these themes evolve in this manga.
