This was a cute book! I needed something light to get me out of a slight reading slump. 

Fun read but also very predictable

This story was so perfect! Meg and Tyler's chemistry was undeniable. Even from the beginning of the story I just knew they were perfect for each other. I loved how it explored grief of lost loved ones and finding love again. I absolutely loved Krew and his little moments where he was honest when Meg and Tyler were sneaking around. I wasn't mad about the drama and emotions the characters felt, especially with Meg. They all made sense and made her even more human. Then the declaration of love at the end was super sweet! I only wished I got more of Tyler's perspective at the end. It was very focused on Meg and while I liked that, I wanted a wrap on Tyler as well. I highly recommend this sweet story! I gave this a HIGH 4 star rating.

i actually enjoyed the first half of the book. it was funny and the little things tyler did to make meg know he was interested was cute. krew is definitely my fave character from this book. i love his interactions with his dad, tyler, especially when he's cockblocking him. 

what really bugged me was tyler being dismissive about the whole dating thing. meg has constantly told him she doesn't want to lose his job but he was so persistent, like he doesn't care that meg could lose her job. there was also the comments tyler's mother-in-law makes about his parenting style and how he can never do better than her daughter. i understand the reasoning behind it but it was just overall weird of her to comment that multiple times to meg.

 and then the grand gesture towards the end threw me off. i love love LOVE grand gestures but that was so unnecessary especially because meg has stated many times she doesn't want to lose her job at the school. 

it wasn't a bad book but it definitely wasn't for me. so sad because i really wanted to like this.
