i actually enjoyed the first half of the book. it was funny and the little things tyler did to make meg know he was interested was cute. krew is definitely my fave character from this book. i love his interactions with his dad, tyler, especially when he's cockblocking him. 

what really bugged me was tyler being dismissive about the whole dating thing. meg has constantly told him she doesn't want to lose his job but he was so persistent, like he doesn't care that meg could lose her job. there was also the comments tyler's mother-in-law makes about his parenting style and how he can never do better than her daughter. i understand the reasoning behind it but it was just overall weird of her to comment that multiple times to meg.

 and then the grand gesture towards the end threw me off. i love love LOVE grand gestures but that was so unnecessary especially because meg has stated many times she doesn't want to lose her job at the school. 

it wasn't a bad book but it definitely wasn't for me. so sad because i really wanted to like this.
