Like the first two books, I liked the plot and world building, but I couldn't stand Myka and the romance. I should have steered clear from this book the moment I read the synopsis and knew this was an enemies to lovers romance. But I held out hope, wanting to love this like I did the first two, but found it had everything that makes me hate this trope. 

Myka acted incredibly childish, arrogant, and immature in the beginning. She kept assuming things about Drake and the whole time I wanted to yell at her to shut up and grow up. Drake also could have been honest from the start. Same with Myka. What's so hard with just telling the truth? It's also super unrealistic for a guy/girl to still like someone who is frustrating and childish. I would NEVER want to be with a guy who was frustrating to me. Of course this is fiction, but can't it also be realistic in some ways? Especially when it comes to relationships? How could Drake have liked her with everything she did? Also, even though the two shared intimate moments together, Drake proving himself trustworthy, she was still too stubborn to trust him. I mean, enough to want to kill him with a knife? That's going too far. That's border line abuse there.

I found myself skim the rest of the book because I just didn't care anymore. I'm probably not going to read another enemies to lovers book. I've just lost hope in it.
