LOVED IT!! This is definitely one of my favorite new adult series. Normally when I find a series I love as much as this one I read it as fast as possible and finish it within the week. This series, however, I've managed to savor every last second and by doing so have gained months worth of entertainment. Wow, I never want this series to end every book is filled with more amazing moments whether it's friendship or all the different relationships I'm obsessed! I know this is a series I gladly read over again because Ryke, Daisy, Rose, Connor, Lo, and Lily all have a special place in my heart<3 Luckily looks like there still a book long epilogue and new spin-off series to look forward to!

**LOTS OF SPOILERS, RANTING AND CRYING ABOUT COBALLOWAY AHEAD. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED**

Complete honesty: I did a little skimming, just a TINY bit during some of the smutty Raisy scenes. Maybe it's bc i'm older than Daisy, but I felt like I was reading about my little sister have sex which was a TOTAL turn-off for me. idk what happened but I just couldn't do it. Maybe bc I relate so much to Rose and her maternal instincts when it comes to her sisters. I have no idea tbh but it made me lowkey uncomfy and, besides their engagement and wedding night, I skimmed over basically every time RYke and Daisy had sex. 

Also I kept wishing this book was written from Connor and Rose's POVs. So much happened to them during this book. I get that this is Daisy and Ryke's story but I couldn't just ignore Coballoway happening in the background!! They had twins!!!! And omg when Rose was flour-bombed, I nearly cried. I love and relate to her so much and I love that Connor knows just what to say and do to calm her down. Plus the scene where baby Charlie, or was it Beckett? idk throws up on her shoulder and she's just like *whatever, it's okay, let me take my shirt off* I was so happy for her. She has overcome so much for the sake and happiness of her husband and children. AND how selfless are Connor and Rose to be Daisy and Ryke's surrogate - like Coballoway are literally the backbone of this family. I love them so much. 

I love Daisy and Ryke, don't get me wrong, but 100% of the time I wished this book was written from the POV of Coballoway instead. Which is interesting because I actually enjoyed Hothouse Flower as a novel, which was released after Kiss the Sky which I also loved. Maybe it's because Fuel the Fire really cemented Coballoway as the favs for me. Whatever the reason, this book was awesome, and I'm sure #Raisy fans adored it, but it fell a couple stars short for me just because I wasn't quite captivated by the Raisy drama and was, instead, more concerned with what was happening with Coballoway in the background. At the end, despite the lovely epilogue, I am left feeling a little unsatisfied and wishing that I had more details from the characters I care most about.

This. Book. This incredible, heart shattering, mind blowing book... *Gawks*
I've never been in any of the situation Ryke and Daisy face here, and yet, I found some bits of that so relatable that I nearly was in physical pain while reading.
Any other comment my brain might produce now seems not big or meaningful or clear enough, but this is what an almost  finale should be.

I just finished reading the book and I'm a emotional mess right now. Long Way Down was 
  perfect
, it was a roller-coaster of emotions (I was literally crying of happiness one second and the next crying of sadness) but honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. 

After 9 books these characters are pretty real to me and I'm so proud and happy of how far they've come. I loved every single moment of this book, of this series and I just want to say thank you, Krista and Becca Ritchie for writing these books and for creating these amazing flawed lovable characters. Please never stop writing, because your books are so important, your stories and your characters inspire me in so many ways and the world is a much better place with your words in it.
