i’m a sucker for kbr books. it’s second chance but not really angsty cos zoey and october r obsessed w each other lol. so if u want a smth w a strong sapphic relationship and close family ties then this is it.

i found it kinda predictable or flat at times? i feel like if we got more flashbacks leading up to their relationship i would’ve appreciated their story more. 

i liked the town and the premise tho, it’s small town mystery. really enjoyed how the sapphic relationship was portrayed too! 

spoiler // wasn’t crazy about how zoeys curse overshadowed colts cos that was basically what the book was about? idk like the plot twist was fine but maybe if we had more leading up to her ex ? the plot twist w her brother tho i liked lol, like i knew about it but it was still fun to see (even tho it was under unfortunate circumstances) 

anyways, i wouldn’t be mad if kbr cont this as a series and made smth happen w colt and baby 👀😐👀
