I loved this book! I love an enemies to lovers plot but this was a TRUE enemies to lovers, you could tell through the writing how much the characters loved and hated each other and the conflicting feelings throughout their storyline 

Rune was a great FMC, strong but also very easy to connect with as a reader. I kind of guessed that Verity wasn’t who she said she was but I didn’t think she would be Cressida! Loved the plot twist 

The scene of Rune and Gideon in the old mine had me gripped and I was so hooked on the story from that point- will definitely be reading the next book in the duology

silly goofy fantasy romance, oddly enough vaguely similar to my last read but I found the plot more engaging and the magic system more fleshed out. writing was fine, story was entertaining, I’ll probably read the next one

This was so good. Rekindled my love of fantasy. I love high stakes but during semester there's a strong chance I will stay up till 1 reading on a uni night oops.

I had the BEST time reading this. When I say a witchy fantasy romance that’s what I mean.

The enjoyed the dynamic of the two MCS and dialogue. Would I have liked some more banter? Sure.

There some obvious plot holes and things that left me with questions as well as the big reveal of her being a witch felt too easy I want to say?

Either way the vibes were immaculate and this came to an end all too quickly. 

THE ENDING. I did see two of the big reveals coming but again wonderful time was had by all. Looking forward to the next one FEB 2025 lets gooooo
