From New York Times Bestselling Author comes Safe With Me?Keeping others safe is what Caleb Montgomery does. He's never had a problem taking on an assignment, whether it was during his dangerous SEAL days or his most recent job of training war mercenaries. But being assigned to keep Brynna Vincent and her adorable daughters, Maddie and Josie, safe from an unknown threat has thrown Caleb off his axis. Hot for the tall brunette since she came back to town more than a year ago, being close to her day in and day out is cracking Caleb's resolve to keep his hands off her gorgeous body and his head in the mission.Brynna is sick and tired of being afraid. All she wants is a normal, quiet life for her and her precious girls. Just as she's settling into her new home in Seattle and feeling safe again, Caleb shows up on her doorstep insisting the danger is as high as ever. But whether she needs to be sheltered from the threat in her past, or from the intense emotions she feels for the sexy, protective man sleeping in her home, remains to be seen. What will happen if Brynna and her girls fall in love with a man so broken he may not be able to protect them from the danger that threatens, much less himself?"

This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance Safe With Me is the fifth book in the series, and I think out of all the siblings, this is the one book I have been most looking forward to. Our hero, Caleb, is the Navy SEAL of the siblings and boy he is one alpha male and I have been itching to get my hands on his book. I love how protective he is of his siblings and even more of Brynna and her two daughters. The story sets of with learning why Brynna has come to Seattle in the first place, which we see in previous books but never knew the reasons behind it. But this book we get the chance to see a more in-depth look into her character, her past and her fragile situation. Brynna finds her ex-husband's dead body on Thanksgiving, and the men behind it driving away and now her life is in danger from a local gang and she must go into hiding. So she comes to Seattle, her cousin's husband providing a safe job and place to live until they can find those behind it so she can live a normal life again. It's not been a year since that incident and when certain signs appear that Brynna isn't safe, Caleb comes to live with her to protect her and her two daughters. Brynna is attracted to Caleb in a way she has never been with a man but he keeps giving her the cold shoulder and she knows that something weighs heavily on his should. Even with the danger coming closer, the intimacy between Caleb and Brynna only becomes stronger and the family that they are becoming. I truly had a blast with this book and it is probably my favorite book in the series. I think what l ended up loving the most about this book was the emotional intimacy that grows between this couple. Yes, we have a good amount of sex scenes, but not as much as previous books and the focus is Brynna's situation and we also have two little girls and I liked that an emotional bond forms first before the physical one does. There is definitely some strong chemistry between them of course, but I love how well balanced this book seemed to be. I just couldn't get enough of the story and yes the side plot with the suspenseful elements really added something more to this story. I honestly LOVED this aspect, to be honest, it only brought out the romantic elements even more. Why did I think I could just have her in my bed, and not fall in love with her ? Why couldn't I keep my fucking hands off her? I stare at the hollow, broken man in the Mirror, knowing the answer already. Because Brynna Vincent is it for me. There will never be another woman who can make me feel safe, make me feel happy. Make me feel loved. And her daughters are two little beacons of light in this dark hell I call a life that I just can't resist. We have some complex characters for sure. Brynna's has suffered a great loss, but more than that her ex-was never a real husband or a real father to her girls. She had to raise them all on her own, and she was always considered to be the last priority. Caleb has suffered too, being a Ex-SEAL comes with baggage of his own and he is dealing with some PTSD issues and I think what I enjoyed the most was seeing how these two help each other heal from past wounds, that they find peace with each other. Do you understand what it would do to me if someone got to you? … It would destroy me if you or those babies were hurt, Brynna. You are necessary to my survival, goddamn it. I had no problem with having children in this book, none at all. Mostly because these two girls were so cute and precious and they just made me laugh so much. I love how Caleb is with them, so patient and willing to do whatever they want. They really have him wrapped around their little fingers. And they are so innocent and sweet. God, she can destroy me with just a look. I’ve faced horrors that no man or woman should have to see and faced them without qualms, but this woman and her two daughters bring me to my knees. Overall I found this story to be a favorite of the series, and Caleb's story was simply charming and so endearing and left me so happy inside....AN IRRESISTIBLE LOVE STORY TO CAPTURE YOUR HEART!!
