My favorite book in the series so far. I absolutely loved this book despite it's usual boring bouts of exposition. I experienced so many intense emotions because of this book. It was so good. Violet is the most understated bad-ass character I've ever read about. She has the most incredible mental fortitude, and can be a f**king bad-ass sticking it to a b**ch character like Idun. I won't spoil the scene I'm referencing, but I was flipping out, crying, giddy, cheering, screaming "right on", and literally kicking the bed in excitement. I had all of the emotions. Plus the relationships started to get more serious towards the end. However, I still am not satisfied by the romance and steaminess of these books. I want so much more than what the books have given so far. If only they could switch out all the endless exposition with more (and better) steamy or romantic scenes. I can't wait to see what the final book is like because I have been enjoying each book more and more, and I now have high hopes for the finale.
