Me vs loving Kristy Thomas with my entire heart. I'm not really sure how to review the 6th book in a graphic novel series I've been reading for 12 years but I guess I can try. This was HIGHLY anticipated by me because the babysitters club has owned my heart since I was 6 years old, so anytime I get new content I'm over the moon and this didn't disappoint!! Gale Galligan's art style is so much more fitting for this 2nd wave of books and feels more modern than Raina Telgemier's. I need all 150+ books adapted asap!

I was putting off finishing this book only because I didn't like Watson and I didn't like that Kristy would not be living close to Mary-Anne and Claudia anymore.

Galligan continues to be an excellent addition to the BSC artist club, and her Kristy's Big Day is another adorable, but also educational addition to the graphic series. It tackles some big feelings about combining families, and while I would have liked to see more emotional depth, I still think this is an excellent book for the target age bracket.

4/5 ⭐️

I again really love diving back into this series thought this graphic media, I loved the twist in this that focus on kristy mom wedding and so many kids. It was just a fun read and one that i tackled in such a short amount of time. I really loved how this book focused on friendship and just summer fun. I really also enjoy the art style and am so excited to keep reading!

So sweet! I really liked this one a lot. I thought it was so interesting to see how the girls cleverly divided up by age groups and assigned everyone a "leader." I loved that they did different activities each day and that the wedding was a background thing for most of the story. Planning my own wedding at the moment, I can appreciate and relate to Kristy's mom and the stress she must have been feeling having to change her entire plan on such short notice. I loved the yellows, and all the "photos" of the wedding. I read most of the Little Sister books when I was younger (the stories about Karen) so when they did the wedding between her and David Michael, I could recall that issue in the Little Sister's series, and how it tied into the original. I loved those books, and feel so very nostalgic reading them in graphic form now. But at the same time it feels like all new stories. I think that the team behind these adaptions really does a great job of honoring the originals, but making them feel fresh and relevant still. I hope they continue to produce these books!

Super cute and easy to read.
