Heavy drama, new adult dark romance. I had no idea what I was in for. I could not put it down as I was engrossed in Zara, Alex and Eli motives. Had a hate to love with all of them. Unique, unpredictable plot and that ending was so intense.

This book absolutely had a chokehold on my life. I think this is the most toxic group of people I’ve read before. Each of them has their own demons that they’re fighting. 

I actually loved Eli right from the beginning but boy did my opinion shift by the end 😅 Alex really grew so much as a person it was great to see that unfold. Zara, she fell into a life that a lot of times is a bottomless pit. Not for her, she managed to crawl out even after everything she went through. 

Absolutely great book but please check your triggers before diving in!

I’m also going to preface my review by saying Ecstasy is a dark romance and contains topics that may trigger some readers (drug use/addiction, self harm, rape, violence/abuse, stalking, death, etc)... Tread carefully my dudes. 

Ecstasy revolves around the lives of three college seniors: Alex Cardi, a hot headed football player and asshole; his best friend Eli Addison, a charming hot shot wrestler; Alex’s ex girlfriend, Zara Henderson, who’s just a hot fucking mess; and the one night that changed everything between them.

If you think so, then buckle up buttercup cause you’re about to ride high after high with Zara, feel the brunt of Alex’s anger, and play a mind game or two with Eli... 

& you’re gonna like it.
