this had so much promise bc it focused on different characters. every one was great but the ending was soo bad that it makes the entire series trash and i will not b reading more. sry tvd show > books but im glad i tried.

A solid 3.5 book. These books are heavily dated however it's nice to see another side of the characters in the show. I definitely can't say that it's the perfect book or even that it's particularly well written, but this series is a pretty light and easy read so you don't need to think too much while reading.
